Pros

flexible scheduling, good health care benefits if you are a full time employee, free nights at Hyatts around the world so definitely a plus if you enjoy traveling.

Cons

managers are inconsistent, unprofessional, and display favoritism. There is a culture of competition for shifts among employees which shouldnt be because scheduling is supposed to be done by seniority.

Pros

Fairly well perceived in the city, having "Andaz" on your resume looks impressive Great employee discounts at other Hyatts, 13 free nights at Hyatt hotels after your first year of service Offer RRSP matching and competitive benefits

Cons

Extremely short staffed, Work / Life balance is non existent Lack of direction and support Not enough communication between department Conflict in upper management trickles down Do not promote from within Environment is very toxic Leadership does not listen to employee concerns even when brought up repeatedly
