Pros

Offers remote although now strictly enforcing in-office days. Good to get bylines for new reporters but if you have integrity or experience prepare to be treated like it's your first day.

Cons

Everything. Zero respect for employees. Fully toxic environment, horrible bosses that micromanage everything. Would give no stars if I could. Also the "CEO" they list here is the only likeable exec at the company and is not the CEO. The actual CEO is horrible. Constantly changing goalposts without real explanation except "for sales". Forcing everyone to use AI without any real training or policies. HR does the bare minimum to avoid being sued. Constant layoffs and vague threats of being replace with AI. Oh, and they don't give raises.

Pros

Good onboarding, benefits, holidays, PTO, flexible work schedule, decent pay, excellent colleagues, good working environment (at first).

Cons

Lack of transparency from management, some politicking and terrible upper management. The C-Suite's growing over-reliance and illiteracy about AI leading to poor business decisions, and forces employees to be heavily dependent on AI. Constantly giving out reassurances about company profitability, but ends up discontinuing roles or cutting out entire teams/departments due to "cost-cutting" measures that make absolutely zero sense. In other words, making inconsistent and illogical managerial decisions. Upper management doesn't seem to care much about employee loyalty and performance, and probably don't realize their "brand" won't be seen as trustworthy, at least by the labor market.
