Pros

Able to see free movies + bring one extra. Popcorn and pop are priced reasonably for employees. Everything else is still overpriced even at 50% off.

Cons

Heavy favoritism and discrimination towards employees by the management. Cast members make minimum wage, with no raises ever. If you clock in even 1-2 minuets late, it counts towards being written up as late, even though employees are expected to stay a few minuets late finishing tasks before leaving. If the management doesn't like you for whatever reason, you get 0 warning for being written up. You can be written up for even looking at your phone once if the wrong manager sees you, but for certain employees and managers it's fine. If the management decides they don't like you, they'll look for almost any reason to terminate you, without any warnings. There's almost a completely new cast every few months, employees drop like fly's. The turnover rate is insane. Cast consist of high school students mainly. Shifts get canceled the day of or before you're scheduled to work. Management sends home student employees early, who haven't work for more then 3 hours, and gets them to sign a form so they don't make at least 3 hours of pay. Complete dead end job. Assistant managers who've been their for 4-5 years are only making $17 an hour And the two cast members that have been there 4+ years are still making minimum wage. Easily fired, one writeup for one late, another for answering a phone call, to say "need to reschedule this call, I'm at work" in an empty theater while cleaning, and terminated without a single warning. If you want to be treated fairly don't work for this company. If you want to make good money, don't work for this company.

Pros

All kinds of people from all kinds of backgrounds work for them. Hours can be somewhat flexible. Potential for transfers to other parts of the country is there.Head office doesn't interfere to much in local scheduling and planning.

Cons

Limited or no benefits unless in very senior levels management. Information on policies and procedures sometimes hard to find and often change without proper notice. Technical support is lacking at times. I find that since they expanded into central Canada they seem to forget that we are a couple of hours ahead of them and thus can't wait till their offices open for assistance on items. Company was not really ready when they advanced into Ontario. Their website crashed numerous times after they acquired sites in Ontario.
