Pros
Coworkers try their best to support each other and are often berated by management for not completing their job in the time frame management feels it should be completed. If a co-worker spends any time trying to train new staff on processes it is considered a waste of time by Management. Management berate their knowledgeable and hard-working staff with a frequently used saying - I don't want to hear any excuses.
Cons
Owners and Management refuse to acknowledge their own behavior and how it is poisoning the environment. Management feels that berating and insulting the staff will make them work harder. People in managerial and supervisory roles acknowledge their negative impact and brush it off with their comments that staff is lazy, unreliable and lacking work ethic. Staff long-term staying power is weeks instead of years due to the high stress levels, extremely heavy workloads, lack of training and direct denial to the tools to be successful at their job. Instead staff members are subjected to daily insults and yelling, not only within the company by their supervisors, but by the clients who are very dissatisfied with the service. Clients are very unaware of the limitations of the staff making this a no win situation for staff members.
