Pros

You'll get a discount on their clothing for both Melanie Lyne and Laura brands.

Cons

You will be underpaid. You will be overworked. Their philosophy is 'Well, what's Reitman's is doing?' I heard this on a daily basis. They boast 'summer' hours... that you'll never be able to take because of your workload. Whatever HR tells you during the interview is not at all what the actual job is. Lots of nepotism, shaming and bullying. Was very glad to leave when I did. I had been there less than 6 months and had already racked up more than 1 month of lieu time. We were told by management that we HAD to work unpaid overtime. I checked with HR and they had to get back to me as they did not know whether that was legal to force employees to come in over the weekend. During my exit interview, HR brushed me off as not being a hard worker and that I was only leaving because I was not capable of working hard. They tried to shame me for finding an opportunity that was a better fit. OK. A manager mocked me once when they asked me an unexpected question while I was at my desk working on a deadline. She insinuated that I was mentally disabled. Kind of like how Trump mimicked the reporter.

Pros

There are absolutely no pros in joining this company!

Cons

Some employees are back-stabbers and client-stealing is prevalent. Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional behavior thrive here. Targets are unrealistic and degrading for a measly minimum wage, because standing throughout your shift is required, plus you get to clean the store after your shift! Hardly no training at all is given before a shift starts.

Pros

Salary, great family oriented business, staff are mature and make great teams ,

Cons

Regional managers is not supportive and disrespectful . No respect for family life. Treats employees like they don't matter ignoring them.. Expected to wear current cloth every season, to expensive to keep up even with discount!! No room for advancement ... Managers really should write reviews on there own regional managers each year...
