      Pros

      Company has a great mission.

      Cons

      Majority of Sr. Leadership is from BlackBerry and look out for one another, including HR. Very different culture and treatment between development and rest of company. Employees reporting into the CTO are treated extremely well while employees reporting into the CEO are micro managed, not appreciated, not trusted and over worked for little pay.

      Pros

      Top noch technology and software which is (still) highly appreciated by its customers.

      Cons

      Magnet was taken over by Thoma Bravo and its accountants. Excel rules now and jobs are skipped all over the place. The company is now steered looking at American practices, without noticing differences in local markets. A promise at the take over was that the Magnet culture wouldn't change. Well it did (a lot).

      Pros

      Love the mission, and people. Product is mostly solid Lots of good emphasis on agile development, code quality and testing Very friendly and helpful peers

      Cons

      Large part of management lacks vision, one giant group think (from good old black berry days), who consider employees as children to be managed since they know better. Guest speakers who are brought in at events are there more for emotional manipulation rather than because of true belief in the mission. If you like to challenge the status quo and innovation, you won't last there very long. Pay is average.
