Great perks and talented colleagues, but toxic Company Policies

- amenities, perks, and pay are all pretty solid and mostly best in the industry. - work with extremely talented people - interesting, cutting edge tools to work on interesting, cutting edge problems.
Cons
- evaluation cycle is highly toxic. Stack rankings at every level impose a need to compete with your coworkers, even if everyone tries to be supportive. - Constant need for self-promotion and self-validation can lead to either over-inflated work or cut throat networking. - member: management ratio is out of hand. Employees who need extra support already don't get it because everyone is strapped for time, and with the advent of AI and the 50:1 ratio, it has gotten even worse. recent layoff rumors are also all pretty much true. everyone who remained was non-too excited
