Pros

you learn from watching toxic contact centre management that you shouldn't model yourself after them.

Cons

- numeris contact centre is a hopelessly toxic workplace. the worst sides of human nature here. talking behind people's back (dirt reporting) is rampant at this place -- and it's facilitated and encouraged. numeris conTAct centre management are micromanaging control freaks Who want to be in the know of everything that go on in a shift. nasty cliques are frenemies at best. when they are looking to promote someone, they ask people what they think of that employee. backstabbing and covert undermining happen in the process. if you've only been at numeris and nowhere else, you will convince yourself that dirt reporting is normal and okay. don't become toxified by this environment. - management and hr love to think of numeris as a wonderful company that's full of wonderful people. it doesn't matter what they like to think of themselves; what matters is what their staff think of numeris. let us put it this way: you wouldn't want your kids to ever work here. there are greener pastures out there. - numeris contact centre management are horrendously egotistical, condescending, bigoted tyrants. narcissistic rage when their monstrously big egos are challenged or bruised. their reaction damages their own reputation. they should be more self-aware that being ego-driven creates a toxic environment for their direct reports. when we tell you that your ego needs to be contained, listen and learn. they should seriously work on their humility -- the humility to realize their egotism. ego-driven leaders are easily offended and regularly defensive. they rarely admit their faults and always rationalize and justify their toxic behaviour. bigotry and the 'it's okay when we do it but it's unforgivable when you do it' double-standard. expects forgiveness and compassion for their errors but are less than forgiving about other people's errors. the 'told you so' attitude. - this contact centre gives people so many write-ups and reprehension. covert undermining under the guise of professional development. if they don't like you for whatever reason and they want to get rid of you, they do their best with their fault-finding and nitpicking attitudes to accomplish that. it's cathartic for bullies. if you're not shrewd enough to recognize the tactics of egotistical bullies, it'll be hard for you to survive here. there are so many subtle forms of bullying that go under the radar. the issue of bullying at numeris is suppressed by bullies that deny the uncomfortable truth. they hate to be exposed. they brush off the problem and label us as sensitive and emotional. denying the uncomfortable truth and gaslighting reality will not make numeris a better workplace. ego-tripping and power-tripping happen at numeris. it doesn't matter whether they don't see themselves as bullies. bullies never admit that what they do is bullying; they always try to justify that it isn't. how could they try to justify this: we're telling you that it hurt and you don't get to deny that. when we tell you that you hurt us, you don't get to decide that you didn't. just because you can't see the emotional scars don't mean they aren't real. nobody tries to help you because they fear becoming the next target. don't kill egotistical bullies with kindness -- they don't deserve it. hr is truly foolish for falling for the management's charms. hr is not your friend; they are really there to protect the company and the harder-to-replace management, not you.

Pros

Free coffee -- light, medium, and dark roast!

Cons

IT department is the most unstable and mismanaged department due to: (1) arrogant and dishonest managers that no one respects (2) inexperienced managers that create more problems than they resolve (3) lack of trust in management due to their complete lack of transparency (4) frequent resignations by frustrated and disappointed employees that see no future for themselves in their current positions (5) frequent firings of hard working and qualified employees for expressing an opinion that differs from that of management's, only to be replaced by unqualified and inexperienced people (6) rampant favouritism and scapegoating HR department is unable to treat employees with dignity, and is run by a duo of inept managers. They spend most of their resources on unimportant projects such as: which flavours of ice cream to serve at the next company function, and new ways to solicit "anonymous" feedback from employees to use against them later. This department is often used to threaten and silence employees. Senior management is unwilling to fix the problems listed above by replacing the incompetent management in IT and HR. This will only serve to put the company at risk.

Pros

Benefits are great. You will need them when you go on disability leave for the way you are treated by management.

Cons

Regular employees are mistreated, disrespected, unvalued, and bullied on a regular basis. Management employees are always right and never suffer any consequences of their actions. Favouritism is a regular occurrence.
