Too much politics and constant torture of layoffs

Paid well in the past. Now low balling employees.

Cons

Cancelled bonuses and promotions. Constantly torturing with layoffs all around. No clear vision. Too much politics. Understaffed teams.

Their vacations plan and work life balance sucks in Canada

They pay a good base salary + RSU's in Canada

Cons

In Canada, they don't offer unlimited vacations. The 3 weeks vacations are also hard to take due to the burden of work and constant pushback from managers. In Pandemic this is really impacting employees' mental health. Furthermore, they don't have RRSP matching in Canada. Having these available in the US and not in Canada is odd.

Great culture Florishing stock Treats employees well No meeting Thursdays Friendly and skilled engineers Events and hackathons Compensation is great Managers and amazing, no micro management

Cons

Monolithic codebase executed very poorly Very little attention given to proper infrastructure choices Sales driven "Band-Aid" solutions are encouraged Very little room for self improvement A huge chunk of time is wasted waiting for builds and dealing with merging code into production Very risk-adverse. Moonshot projects are nonexistent on most teams, but are encouraged to be done in two day hackathons
