Pros

* Great company culture * Management has a positive management style, they encourage you and focus more on your wins than on your losses. * You are not micro-managed. * You can request training on any areas that you feel you need to improve on * As with any recruitment firm, you are measured by KPI's but they are achievable * There are endless opportunities to grow whether you want to manage a team or become a specialist * Overall, I have nothing negative to say about MP! I've worked for other recruitment companies in the past and they are always extremely focused on KPI's and it's generally a very cut-throat environment. Michael Page is nothing like that. We are measured as a team more than an individual and we are incentivized to collaborate with our colleagues instead of competing with them.

Cons

There are no specific cons at MP. As with any external recruitment position, it's a high performance environment and as such if you are looking for a laid back 9-5 job where you can do the bare minimum to get by, this is not the career move for you.

Pros

It's disheartening to see people write negative reviews about a company that is so good to its employees. During a time where companies are laying off majority of their staff PageGroup has decided to further invest in their people. At the same time the market has shifted and generating business has become more challenging, so alongside management everyone was asked to put in more effort. At the end of the day, we are here to do a job and to do it well. If you are not performing please don't take it out on those that have supported you, and perhaps Michael Pages expectations are not in line with your own goals. PageGroup has always been a company that is known for its culture and collaboration. As the world has returned to 'normal', management has encouraged staff to return to the office ONE to TWO times a week MAX, with the hope in further building relationships with coworkers, learning from each other and of course increasing productivity. This is a hybrid role and having fun, working together, has always been one of our core values. Key word, together. During my tenure at Page I have always appreciated how much the company cares about its people. Constantly evolving our health care & benefits packages, investing in training and development, providing transparent commission structures, outlining career growth opportunities from day one and so much more! I have always felt supported by leadership at Page, and don't think these negative reviews are a true representation of the Toronto leaders, and how they conduct themselves. My advice is to speak to the people that have tenure at Page, and quickly you will see that people stay with Page because their people are at the heart of everything they do. Don't attack peoples character and livelihood on an online form for sport.

Cons

I wish we had bring your pets to work day!
