Complete and utter lack of administrative support. People and Culture department is essentially incompetent. They do not know anything about human rights legislation, they recruit and hire people without doing background checks and then push them through training even when it is clearly demonstrated that the individual is not proficient in the roll. Constant breaches of confidentiality regarding workplace disputes/incidents. Payroll is significantly understaffed and constantly making errors to people's pay. Lack of communication between departments. Outdated and inefficient processes throughout.
