Pros

Excellent benefits, profit sharing, alternate weekends off

Cons

No accountability, absenteeism seems acceptable, smokers get unlimited breaks, nonsmokers work harder, leadership is incompetent, show favoritism and turn a blind eye to staff complaints. The fantastic workers get written up for trivial issues while disciplinary action is overlooked with members who deserve it. Scheduling is arranged so that you frequently work alone on a daily basis and even more so on weekends and special sale events. There is no coverage when a team member calls in sick which adds to the frustration. It seems as though the more profitable the company becomes, the less hours are allocated to members. Chronic understaffing made it difficult to provide to level of customer service that the company promotes and prides itself on. I would have retired there but the stress was too great. Communication and support from Head office were often ineffective so store level issues were not resolved or resolved temporarily.
