- Low pay (significantly under market rates)
- No work-life balance
- Lack of transparency and borderline false advertising in their ads for employment.
- Questionable treatment of certain therapists: Kinesiologists and PTAs are assigned non-clinical tasks that do not align with their professional scope of practice, including tasks typically associated with facility maintenance (e.g., removing heat and cold packs from physio patients, cleaning treatment rooms, laundry and folding of it, and washing of cupping equipment). Also, kinesiologists are frequently held responsible for issues related to these tasks, regardless of clinical relevance, which can impact morale and role clarity.
