Huge company and there is a lot of openings . ,low stress from work but micromanagement is stressful

Company has fused with other companies and a lot of changes are happening. The different culture are very different and clashes are happening.The division, intelligence and Space in Calgary and Ottawa lost NWS contract to ATCO frontec in Ottawa so a lot of lay off will happen very soon. Management lies to its employee and will keep lying even if they knows the employees have understood their disingenuous. A lot of politics and no care for expertise or knowledge .....the most fake place I have ever worked at. They have no work but an open contract with the Gov so they will hire but they don't have work . They hire just to make money off hiring you and show the customer, DND, they are well staffed but the reality is they have a high turnover due to micromanagement and no real work to give you. The The Gov contract needs 70 to 90 employees but they hire 150 or 200 employees just to charge the DND. Plenty of employees are suing the company.
