Pros

Good salary, excellent benefit package, nice office facility, free coffee and snacks, monthly social events. Most people are nice in the office.

Cons

Growing pains as company expands and resources are not in place to keep up. Terrible training. Poor communication from manager to team and between departments. The kind of place where you'll do well if you pretend you are accomplishing something and know how to use the right catch phrases.

I want to thank you for taking time to give us your feedback. It is clear from your review that you care about our team and have ideas for how we can improve. Our goal is to create an engaging, transparent and collaborative environment for all our employees. People are our greatest resource and our team and culture have provided us the foundation to be recognized by Progress Magazine Best Places to Work, Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers and Nova Scotia’s Top Employers lists. That said, you’re right – we are growing and as we grow we will need to continue looking to each of our team members to champion the change that they want to see in our organization. I would love to hear some of your ideas so we can talk through an actionable plan to drive an even better environment at ResMed. Thanks again for the feedback.

Pros

Great benefits, values work at home model, lots of room for growth if you can say yes to being taken advantage of. This is one of those places that acts like we are family until they are done with you.

Cons

If you are not a suck up to your superior, this isn't the job for you especially in the halifax office. If you are likable you will go far. If you ask too many questions or cause your manager any issue, you will be blacklisted from future opportunities.

Pros

Vacation time, rrsp and profit share but a lot of companies offer these, resmed makes you pay in the end for these with the consistent lay offs every six months.

Cons

The company would rather spend a million dollars on an office that maybe 5 people go to a day than keep employees in Halifax. the office manager doesn’t even have to go to the office, that’s how little it is used. It’s all about showing they have money and wasting it. The culture used to be good, once everyone went to work from home, they lost their culture and caring about people. They consider their employees disposable but upper management has no idea that some of these employees are instrumental in the success. They aren’t boots on the ground management they are ivory tower type management.
