Pros

Great benefits, good leadership within imprints, incredible flexibility with office vs. hybrid.

Cons

Communication between higher ups rarely makes its way down and the goals of a team are often not said explicitly, making one feel unsure of what's valued most.

Pros

Big company with exciting books. Really old office that makes it hard to see or meet new people with no office amenities beyond a seltzer machine.

Cons

Toxic managers, upper management is old, out of touch and scared to try new things. Departments don't work well together because of manager/VP relationships making them tense. No work life balance.
