Trader offers a collaborative and fast-paced environment with strong opportunities for learning, growth, and career development. I’ve been with the company for 10+ years and started at the very bottom before working my way into the tech organization. That growth came from hard work, but also from the many opportunities Trader provided and continues to provide for employees who want to succeed. Throughout my career, I’ve been surrounded by incredibly talented engineers and supportive leadership who have consistently prioritized my growth and well-being. The work is engaging, the teams are collaborative, and there is strong exposure to different areas of the business and technology. As a woman in tech, I’ve worked very hard to get where I am today, and I truly feel that Trader Corp recognized my value and gave me the support and opportunities needed to thrive. Now owned by AutoScout24, even more doors have opened where I have moved into a more technical space & learning even more about the latest tech and AI. Offices are really nice, coffee sparkling water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic bevs all the time. snacks, lunches provided on occasion, Christmas events, team building events, paid vacation days are standard, Oncall pay is decent, Corp phone if you are in tech if you need one. hybrid working depending on your location, paid sick days, emergency days, opportunities for travel intercontinental sometimes, opportunities to go leading vendor events all over the world (AWS, Grafana, Incident.io, etc)
Cons
This is a very fast-paced environment, and it’s not for everyone. You’ll be immersed in modern technology, and at times the direction may not always be clearly defined. However, that also gives employees the opportunity to help shape the direction and contribute in meaningful ways. Your success here comes from being proactive, bringing ideas forward, and having a point of view. There is no promotions just given to you because of seniority; if that is something you are looking for, this is not the place for you. You'll will be encouraged to have a seat at the table, present ideas, demo new features and showcase the work you do, So if you are not comfortable being front and center stage this may also not be the place for you.
