High pressure environment with constant management oversight

More hours No Physical Work I would only recommend this to people who want to learn or know the truth about how a business really functions, numbers, numbers and only numbers.

Cons

Extremly high pressure, your managers will be on you head all the time. The company will try to push not just selling furniture, but also warranties, other complimentary products, credit cards etc. And everything KPI is tracked.

Sales opportunities exist, but retail is declining

Pros

opportunity to make money in Sales, Management roles are very stressfull though.

Cons

Retail setup is dying with time, spent 8 years working for retail then you just stick to retail when everything is moving online, hard to transition into online remote work later on if stuck in retail only.
