Pros

coffee is provided, a sitting area in the kitchen

Cons

Do not recommend this company to any. This company is very cheap and management lacks integrity. There are no benefits to working here...there are no pension or RRSP contribution plans, and their medical benefits are bare minimum (worst group insurance I've ever seen). Beyond this, there are no weekly or monthly employee arranged activities or events, other than those arranged amongst the internal clique of friends. They are especially cheap to their sales representatives - they would not even reimburse a bridge toll fee of $3.20 per way and advised to take the longer route for a client meeting...Their rate of reimbursement per km driven is below the cost of gas, and they they do not provide any car allowance for the wear and tear on your vehicle -or credit card to pay for treating clients. They want you to go to as many live meetings as possible but will then question you if your not in the office and have not logged any metrics into their highly scrutinized reporting system, not to mention recorded 'talk time' via Mitel. If you want to travel further to visit a client that requires a flight, the Sales manager will suggest going to meet your client for you...?? They encourage you not to contact your clients so as to only focus on calling new companies, and let operations handle your existing clients when 98% of their 'operations' don't have basic knowledge of how to provide customer service so you will lose the client anyways. This company has no technology infrastructure to support their business and have very limited resources to source partners. Lastly they don't care about their employees, and will force you to be in the office during a pandemic.

We appreciate your feedback and we're sorry things didn't work out for you. To clarify a few things, since the start of the pandemic, we've followed the recommended guidelines and have accommodated all employees by purchasing new screens and laptops to work from home until further notice. At no point have we forced anyone to work in the office during the pandemic. A company wide communication was sent to everyone addressing these recommendations. Keep in mind, the office remains open for those interested in coming in. As far as activities goes, unfortunately, due to the pandemic and the many restrictions that came with it, we were unable to plan employee events/activities. With that said, we are hopeful for 2022. Finally, in terms of the expenses, as you know, you are asked to fill out an expense report and send it over to our payroll department who in turn reimburses you fully. I highly suggest giving us a call if you have any questions regarding this. Our payroll director will help you with your inquiries. Thank you

Revolving Door - not worth the stress

Pros

New Building, direct deposit, large warehouse facility.

Cons

I didn't want to bother writing a review in the first place, but seeing all the fake "positive" reviews that are published here to falsely boost the ratings is absolutely unacceptable. Does management micro-manage: absolutely! They spend more time doing that than actually doing anything to help support the team. Any news ideas you put to the table on how to improve operations: not considered, and if they are looked into, management takes the credit for it. Sense of family and tight connections? Yes - absolutely, between a few individuals that run the show because it is in their best interest to do so because of personal relationships amongst each other. Clear signs of favoritism. There is no room for growth. There is no outlook to have this company develop. This is just a dead end where you will be overworked, underappreciated, and essentially burned out.
