Great fleet and service, but internal people skills lack improvement

Great fleet, great cleaning crew, focuses on route and customer service, never had to touch the buzz never had to pre-trip never had to do any of that stuff

People skills internally need to be worked on

Pros

Easy work, air conditioned vehicles.

Cons

Some schedules don't allow adequate sleep time and rest time if you live more than an hour from the yard. CDL requirements are 10 hours driving in a 12 hour period, including personal driving time, and I was over an hour from the yard with traffic. Regular shifts could be 9 hours, then you might get pulled for a fixed route for 3-4 additional hours due to driver call outs.

-This job pays well and gets you paid. -decent sick time policy -decent seniority policy -fare vacation time policy

Cons

-trainers hitting on new hires -you don't always get paid for overtime - no real way to stay up to date on rules and regulations other then a billboard and the managers pick and choose what they post on the bill board -unprofessional relationships that keep undeserving employees hired
