      Good work, but live close to the yard.

      Pros

      Easy work, air conditioned vehicles.

      Cons

      Some schedules don't allow adequate sleep time and rest time if you live more than an hour from the yard. CDL requirements are 10 hours driving in a 12 hour period, including personal driving time, and I was over an hour from the yard with traffic. Regular shifts could be 9 hours, then you might get pulled for a fixed route for 3-4 additional hours due to driver call outs.

      Pros

      Hourly rate is decent starting.

      Cons

      Always playing games with their drivers. They aren't fair. They don't pay you all your hours. They will short you. If one of them doesn't like you for any reason, they'll find scheming ways to get you out. Don't expect the Union to help.
