      Pros

      The job itself is wonderfully interesting! It is excellent if someone wants to learn GLP.

      Cons

      If you want your stress levels to plummet, your efforts not to be acknowledged and learning not to be encouraged, then this is the place for you. If you are enthusiastic and growth mind oriented you will suffer here. This is all due to almost daily bombardment of passive aggressive emails from management and insults form senior staff.

      Pros

      - The lab is beautiful and the analytical instruments are well maintained. - I found managing a project from start to finish very fulfilling.

      Cons

      - Very depressing, stressful, and toxic work environment due to poor team management. - Almost 0 possibility to move up in the company. - A global company that seems to get bought out every other year, so communication to other teams is terrible. Getting the information or even products needed to simply begin planning a study is a huge challenge. - HR is based in the USA, and has no knowledge of Canadian laws. They also just don't seem to care about the people at the Guelph facility. - Projects get very repetitive.

      Could be great... But misses the mark

      Pros

      State of the art facility in an amazing Town in Ontario. Younger staff are great, but few and far between.

      Cons

      Terrible management - Huge egos, obstinate, straight up rude, unavailable and at times totally intentionally belittling. Abysmal workplace moral. Awful corporate policy, continued mergers have slowly eaten any culture or value this place had or could have. If I were you, I would stay away until major changes are made.
