Pros

Decent salary and benefits with a great discount on cars. Lots of opportunities to learn. Enough budget to do produce great work.

Cons

Toxic environment. It's a flat organization so there are little opportunities for advancement which promotes unhealthy competition. People have been there for years and plan to stay until retirement (and it shows). Very demanding goals which makes the environment even more hostile. Lots of egos and personalities. Lots of politics inside the office and a brutal aggressive environment with dealers. (not every car company that suffers from this) Dealers are down right indecent in their behaviors.

Pros

Decent salary discount on cars fancy s.w.a.g brand name

Cons

Despite being perhaps the biggest and largest automobile company globally, it seriously lacks any sort of structure. Apart from being a white boys club, most of the employees have been working for ages and plan to retire and it shows in the work culture. No, walking the talk, HR is strange, hollow promises, and never delivers, lays off people without an ounce of respect. I have seen some experienced and talented employees who seriously contributed to this company's success, being walked out by security, 10mins after being told they were laid off. Unfortunately, this organization is operating in the 1980s, the IT department is non-existent and lacks any IT protocols processes and procedures, or even modern tools. It is a fancy warehouse, with a sales team. The first company that needs a time machine to come to the present, and forget the future. Don't join, unless you just want some money and are ready to jump the ship at any time.
