quick-paced so there's always something to do; decent intro to the world of retail

Cons

Very poor, forgetful and disorganized management; low employee discount; most long time co-workers are not friendly; cut back your shifts even if you cut back your availability by a little bit; no breaks for 5 hour shifts; overall a terrible environment to work PT in - save yourself the experience and find somewhere else

An amazing place to begin your career as they take chances and give great opportunities to people just starting out on their career.

Cons

Be prepared to give up on a personal life. There is no work/life balance. Which would be fine for some people if your were compensated fairly.....but you probably wont be.

Pros

You get to work with some amazing and very diverse teams. Some managers and staff are fun to work with and very supportive. I got to meet some of my friends through work who I am still in touch with after leaving the company.

Cons

The company expects you to be able to act as a general manager, operational manager and support other departments while you are in the middle of solving a customer issue. And also trying to cover shifts for 5 employees who called in sick or didn't show up to work. The company doesn't provide the departments with enough labour hours in order to run the floor according to their "standards", so the managers end up doing most of the work as floor staff.
