Pros

The instructors are quite patient and helpful with students and want to see you succeed.

Cons

ATTENTION ALL SOFTWARE NEW GRADS. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING… There are TOO MANY CONS that I had faced hence the 1 star rating. 1. I received a external job offer which starts after my mthree training ends, and I had told mthree about this, the very first thing they did was forcibly remove me from the program on the same day. I say forcibly because they had the audacity to send me a survey afterwards asking as to why I had “voluntarily left”… funny. Once I had pointed out this was not in the training agreement (nor on their FAQs) that students have to sign, they said it’s their own “policy”. IN THE TRAINING AGREEMENT IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT FORCIBLY REMOVING STUDENTS AFTER A JOB OFFER. They have some serious legal issues, and to all those new grads reading this, this company has just made an example out of me and you should all see that they now update their “training agreement” to include this. Please DO NOT ENROLL INTO MTHREE!!! IF YOU DO RECEIVE A JOB OFFER DURING THEIR TRAINING PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE THIS WITH THEM. 2. The recruiters advertised these roles to people with little to no software experience but the instructors assume you have a undergrad degree in computer science. I was not even told that I needed a Windows Operating System for my C# course until the instructor mentioned it. Too many barriers and you’ll feel like it’s a uphill battle and the end result is to get underpaid. 3. You will be overworked!! They stretch what should be a semester worth of content into 5 weeks. If you are a Canadian student looking for a software role they will pay you a lowball offer around $65k when the average junior developer here makes $80k and they will make you stay for 2 years minimum. 4. The final reason you should NOT invest your time at mthree is because they do not see value in their students, they are a textbook employment agency. They will only be by your side if you stick with them for at least 2 years or they will cut you off. When I tried BEGGING to my coordinators to let me stay and finish my program they said “from a business point of view there is no reason to continue”. It’s hilarious. These are the same people/recruiters who posted things on LinkedIn in the past like “let’s put the HUMAN back in Human Resources”. I called the recruiting specialists and expressed my frustration and instead of trying to understand me they said “change your tone it’s like you’re personally attacking us, maybe then we can help”. I guess their specialists need to understand the 5 stages of grief. I was in denial then anger. At the end of the day mthree only cares about milking money out of you and not your mental health or anything else. I was literally building a front-end application when they removed me from the slack channel and the course, once they saw that investing in someone who found another job is now “useless” to them, even though the job starts afterwards.

Hi there, Congrats again on your external job offer! As the mthree Alumni program is designed to train you into mthree positions, it wouldn't be beneficial for you to complete the paid training through mthree for an external role. That being said, we are very excited to hear that you have secured a new position and kick-starting your tech career. I was also really happy to hear that the training that you did receive from mthree helped you secure this position, when we spoke. Please do reach out to me should you like to discuss further - scott.coleman-allan@mthree.com. Best, Scott Director of Talent, North America

Pros

It has been almost 2 years, working with them. It has been a fruitful journey so far. They have big clients, and I am working with one of them currently. I would honestly like to list a few good things about Mthree: >Their management team, is really good with you. Their anytime availability for discussions on various matters, whether related to client side or with Mthree itself makes a big difference. >Once they hire you, they say you belong to them and they really have proved that ,so far for me at least. They keep constant touch with your direct manager as well as higher management on the client side on monthly basis. To say it in on line: "They know their job very well." >Last but not the least, we all work for money right ? Before you think, if this consulting firm would pay you well. They have a well balanced compensation ready for you on the table which you would never deny, or even feel like negotiating. They definitely match the market standards without fail. which triggers you like a bullet and you hit the FinTech Industry with an

Cons

Just one thing they could be better at, and on which I believe they are planning to improvise for sure: >The referral bonus

Pros

It’s really great opportunity to start your career with big investment banks. For me, without Mthree it was bit difficult to get into it, but Mthree made it easy. Though in starting there was bit struggle with interview process but they kept pushing my profile to get into it. Overall it’s very good atmosphere to work with pretty good compensation. People are very cooperative and helping. Even the managers are very understanding whenever you need any help they are always there to explain. Moreover, they know their each employee and they set 1-1 meeting during their visit. Besides that fun while work is awesome they have many parties over the year whenever they visit to client site. Overall it’s great package to start your career with investment bank.

Cons

Till now I did not found anything as of cons it’s really nice experience till now. But one thing I would like to say since I know there are some training program for Alumni associate if that could be done for Alumni Pro also it would be great even for 1 week is enough related to financial knowledge. Since I know Pro associates are pretty good with technical skills but if financial knowledge is provided to them it would be awesome. That could be done through online training sessions or by videos for employees.
