Pros

- Great colleagues (not a merit of LEGO per se) - Good benefits, but also benefits are very skewed to favor Danish employees more than other countries, which is fine but just needs clarification - Managers/directors clearly, directly and blatantly meddling in the internal mobility process, favoring certain candidates over others, not based on skill and merits.

Cons

- Very stressful, depending on which side of the coin you are. Most people seem to have a great time, but also, don't really work on important projects or really, anything that returns value to the company. - Mediocrity is encouraged, don't stir the pot too much. Ambitious people get quickly shutdown by incompentent management. - Incompetent managers who use classic techniques such as gaslighting to keep people in their lane and complacent. Make you feel bad for wanting more, things like 'we have very high standards' - when history clearly disproves their point. Also... it's just a TOY COMPANY, it's not NASA.

Pros

Well known global brand with meaningful products. Many skilled and passionate colleagues. Good compensation and benefits. Interesting technical challenges and modern engineering practices in certain teams. Collaborative peers at the individual contributor level.

Cons

Leadership quality is inconsistent across departments. Decision making can feel overly influenced by internal politics. Open disagreement is not always welcomed, which can limit healthy debate and innovation. Communication from management is sometimes unclear, and priorities shift without sufficient context.

Thank you for your review. It’s disappointing to hear that some of your experiences. You’ve called out some important points, and we’ll make sure we pass this on.

Pros

- Good culture overall - Nice benefits - good infrastructure - if you're lucky you may land on a nice team

Cons

- mobility support for internationals is a fantasy which soon becomes a neverending nightmare: if you start running into problems (and you will), they'll absolutely leave you to your own resources, despite their bold promises in the recruitment process - don't walk the talk: like any big corp, lots of talk on work balance and valuing employees, but when you actually need it, you'll realise soon enough there is close to none support nor empathy
