This year, APL celebrates 25 years in business! Stephen Woodburn, CEO, began Advanced Paramedic Ltd. in his hometown of Peace River, Alberta. Stephen knew Peace River would be a great place to start an industrial ambulance division, and he had plans to position APL for an air ambulance division. APL proudly became and continues to be the air ambulance provider for Peace River and has expanded to provide multiple service branches strategically located across Northern Alberta including Grande Prairie, High Level, Fort Vermilion, Cadotte Lake, Fox Lake, John D’Or Prairie, Garden River, and Edmonton. APL was founded with, and maintains, a passion for providing unparalleled quality of service while keeping our patients and their loved ones at the centre of our business.
