How do we measure impact? It starts with defining goals that matter to us outside of a balance sheet. The things that really move our communities forward. And then committing to those goals and publicly sharing the progress that we're making. Welcome to BCAA's very first impact report. "Good business is when BCAA gives back more to British Columbia than we take." Eric Hopkins, President & CEO

Congrats to Eric Hopkins on being named CEO of the Year by Business in Vancouver. With this recognition, it’s also a testament to the incredible work of the entire BCAA team – creating products and services that move British Columbians forward, giving back to our communities, nurturing an inclusive workplace culture, and so much more.
We stand in solidarity with our Asian communities, customers, and team members against racism in British Columbia and around the world. Vancouver alone has experienced a 97% rise in hate crimes and a 717% rise in anti-Asian hate crimes over the past year, with over 900 incidents reported across Canada since the onset of the pandemic. We must stand up against racism. At BCAA, we believe in diversity, inclusion, and acceptance, but we acknowledge we must do more for all British Columbians. To those impacted on a personal level, we see you, and we support you. We are committed to standing up and speaking out again racism and injustice in all forms. #StopAsianHate
