Broadridge’s Next-Generation Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiative is an essential part of who we are and what we value as an organization. We’re excited to announce the launch of Broadridge’s new DEI page that brings our vision to life and shares our values, commitment, and expectations around DEI. We look forward to continuing the push toward a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive community for all, and empowering our associates to feel safe, understood, and valued as the individuals they are.
Last week, Broadridge participated in the Marcum Workplace Challenge, a 3.5-mile run-walk for charity at Jones Beach State Park on Long Island. Since 2006, the event has raised more than $1.1 million. Thanks to all for another successful event!
We are pleased to announce that, in addition to our certification earlier this year as a Great Place to Work® in 10 countries worldwide, Broadridge was one of only five organizations recently recognized by the Great Place to Work® Institute in 2022 as one of the Best Workplaces™ in Fintech in India. More than 1,200 organizations in India applied for certification this year, making it the largest assessment of employers ever conducted in India. For Broadridge to earn the distinction as a Great Place to Work® and one of the best workplaces in the Fintech industry is a great honor.
Broadridge supports a number of associate-led networks where associates with similar backgrounds and interests can find peer support, shape company policy and culture, receive mentorship from senior members, and develop their careers. While associate networks each have a specific focus, membership is open to anyone at Broadridge. Our current Associate Networks have been instrumental in putting Broadridge’s DEI goals and strategy into action and in promoting a workplace environment where everyone is welcome, respected, and included. During the inaugural Month of Understanding at Broadridge, we are pleased to announce the creation of three new Associate Networks: Disability Equity Associate Network (DEAN); Lead for Next (LFN); and the Veteran and First Responder Network (VFN). We want to give special recognition to each of the associates who have led the creation of the new networks. Their hard work and dedication in bringing these to life is a true testament to the grassroots nature of these networks—founded, led, and powered by dynamic Broadridge associates.
We’re thrilled to share that Tyler Derr has been appointed Chief Technology Officer at Broadridge Financial Solutions. As CTO, Tyler will lead Broadridge’s global technology teams and ensure we continue to deliver world-class SaaS and other service offerings to our clients across the globe. Tyler has been leader at Broadridge for over a decade, and we’re excited he will be continuing his journey with us in this new role.
At Broadridge, we are deeply committed to creating the most engaging workplace for the most talented associates in our industry. This means a culture where everyone can thrive, build their skills and grow in their careers—and where diversity is celebrated and everyone is welcome, respected and included. Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion—both in our workplaces and in our communities—is a fundamental part of our values. Broadridge is pleased to designate July as the Month of Understanding. We have organized a variety of events to help promote open and meaningful conversations that build a better understanding of how various dimensions of an individual’s identity—such as race, gender, sexual orientation, culture, gender identity, age, ability and educational attainment—shape their experiences.
As Broadridge offices reopen, we have transitioned toward a hybrid work environment where associates only visit the office as needed. This approach helps foster a collaborative environment for meetings, training, and other on-site events. The rest of the time, associates have the freedom to work remotely and focus on daily tasks and objectives. The Connected Workplace allows Broadridge to achieve business goals while supporting meaningful work-life integration for our associates. Our high-performance teams thrive in a culture based on trust and mutual respect that emphasizes outcomes—rather than how, when, and where work is done.
At Broadridge, we believe that everyone should be able to bring their full selves to work every day. During the month of June and throughout the year, we proudly support and celebrate our LGBTQ+ associates, business partners, and neighbors. Through the work of our B.Pride Associate Network, we are committed to amplifying LGBTQ+ voices, promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, and being a positive force for change—both in our workplace and in the communities where we live and work. #HappyPrideMonth #LGBTQ+
Since 2006, the U.S. has recognized June as #CaribbeanAmericanHeritageMonth to honor the significance of and contributions made by Caribbean people and their descendants. Caribbean people are integral to our world’s rich identity, spirit and culture, and Broadridge MCAN invites you to join us in celebrating the deep history and widespread influence of the Caribbean diaspora around the world.
