What an unforgettable evening! The Home Depot Canada Foundation Spring Gala brought together an incredible community of supporters and changemakers, raising over $1.5M in vital funds to help prevent and end youth homelessness across Canada. The night was filled with energy, inspiration, and purpose. Powerful stories of the Foundation’s impact reminded us why this work matters so deeply. From engaging conversations to meaningful moments of connection, the evening was a true celebration of hope, resilience, and possibility. A heartfelt thank you to our annual partners, Board members, committee members, volunteers, and every guest who joined us. Through your unwavering generosity and support over the years, the Foundation has achieved $94M toward our goal of investing $125M by 2030. Together, we are truly changing the path for youth experiencing homelessness.
We are excited to announce that Vinod Nalajala has been appointed president of The Home Depot Canada. Vinod started his career at The Home Depot Canada in 2001 as a sales associate. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility including store manager, regional sales manager, senior manager of sales execution, district manager and vice-president of central operations, contact centres, asset protection and building services. Most recently, he served as the vice-president, human resources. Vinod’s experience with our business and dedication to our values will continue to support the business as he takes on this new role within our leadership team.
