As the director of the Tryer Center, Starbucks innovation lab, Janice is used to finding creative solutions to challenges ranging from new store layouts to beverages to technology. But recently, she and her team took on a new one: helping find ways to get #COVID19 vaccines into the arms of more people. “At first, I had really no idea how we could help,” she said. “But we tackled it the way we always do at Tryer: we jumped in.” Last month, Starbucks announced our support of Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee's effort to increase the number of people vaccinated. With experience operating 30,000 stores around the world, the company offered to help streamline the process at vaccination centers. “We identified ‘pain points’ in the process.
