Today, we observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a time to reflect on the painful legacy of residential schools and to honour the resilience and strength of Indigenous communities across Canada. September 30 also marks Orange Shirt Day, a symbol of solidarity and respect for survivors of residential schools. We encourage everyone to take a moment to listen to Indigenous voices, learn from their experiences, and explore their rich history and traditions.
