Amplifying Communities in Action! So proud of our People and Performance team who joined the crew from Cause We Care Foundation for a day filled with packing backpacks for their 15th Annual Holiday Care Package campaign. Westland's donation will provide 50 single mother-led families the resources to buy nutritious food for their children over the holiday and other small gifts and extras they would not otherwise be able to afford.

Westland’s Vernon Anderson Way team participated in the Upper Room Mission’s clothing and winter jacket drive. Team members Jackie, Jenn, Tyler and Sharmen collected items from various local branches and even made a trip to Kamloops to pick up donations!

Westland Insurance announced a two-year, $50,000 partnership with Adsum for Women and Children. This Halifax-based organization provides critical shelter, housing and support services to vulnerable women and children. The partnership will include funding to support the construction of the Sunflower housing development, which will include construction of 25 homes for those experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Westland team members from surrounding areas will also be participating in on-site build activities throughout the construction duration.
