Truly , none. Even though you’re paid some of the highest salaries in the industry, the work environment and mindsets of leadership essentially cancels it out.

This place sucks the life out of you. There is no sense of culture here. No organization. Projects are randomly thrown around. You have to rely on your own professional experience and wisdom to navigate the ambiguity. There is no team and everyone works in silos. This place is run in a very archaic fashion and refuses to evolve with modern times. Leadership, good or bad, sets the tone of a company anywhere and sadly the leadership here lives in their own bubble without regard to the people around them. Requesting PTO is a joke, no flexibility, and there are no consistent check ins or meetings within departments. Your “yes” to work here will quickly become one of regret. The environment sets you up for failure. In the last year, there have been at minimum 40+ turnovers. This place isn’t sustainable nor have improvements been made to counteract the high turnover.

Free lunch on fridays and nice location in NYC. Good use of AI tools and software.pay is good with lots of overtime opportunities. Support staff are super nice and friendly! The analysts, investigators , consultants and attorneys are very intelligent and hard workers. The pro bono work for the storefront is successful where they support many great causes. The NYU Debate Team and mentorship for interns and students is great. Some commercial cases are genuinely interesting where you can learn a ton with the evolving law .

No casual dress or remote work. Toxic environment where people backstab each other. Crazy clientele. Cut throat management. Pto is impossible. Long hours with no work life balance. Owner takes forever to return work product and needs to be worshipped. Tons of nepotism with his spoiled children employed and untouchable. Nasty bathrooms and nasty old beat up office. Billing system is ancient. Laptops are slow with tons of server issues. Constant appellate work because they lose. The meetings are long and dragged out so the owner can lecture people about his “great passion”.
