AstraZeneca's interview process generally involves multiple rounds, including values-based and technical assessments, with variations depending on the role and department. Be prepared for behavioral questions and potential technical exercises.
Interview Stages
• Initial Screening: This often begins with a phone interview or an on-demand digital video interview (HireVue). "I had an hr call, technical interview with 3 person panel, another hr call, and then interview with regional director."
• Values Interview: A significant component across different roles, focusing on how candidates align with AstraZeneca's core values. "For the values, prepare examples from your previous experience where you have lived those values."
• Technical Interview: These can involve discussions about your current role and how it applies to the position, or live problem-solving exercises. "The technical interview is a little more intimidating. They said they will be sending me an excel sheet and working through an exercise during the interview

Interview
First straightforward and friendly interview with HR booked through Olivia AI assistant. HR said the next step would have been an 'easy' interview via Hirevue. I found the Hirevue interview very awkward. The questions were not so difficult but we are not all YouTubers used to talk to a camera!
Teams interview with approximately 5 groups lasting 30 minutes each. Technical and behavioral questions. Team seems scattered geographically. Consisted of employees from head of team to technical personnel. Employees seem content with jobs.
