It was very thorough. Their were 9 interviews and it took almost two months. There also several testl you need to take. You meet with many different staff and there is very detail background check
I was contacted via LinkedIn through a recruiter. Took the call and was introduced to VP of sales. The call was mainly about the role and where the company is headed. On my second call, I was interviewed with a female who gave me a bad vibe from the start. Towards the end of the call she became unprofessional with her appearance when asking me what I know about Calix. I asked qualified questions and she made it clear I didn’t need to know the technical parts of the job. Clearly that was the case when I didn’t get a third call. Don’t put your potential hires in a limbo and faking expectations just because you felt some type of way. I don’t recommend this company solely based on this woman’s interviewing skills.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Calix (Baltimore, MD) in Dec 2018
Interview
Interview process was very well managed by a dedicated HR rep. Interview process was extremely thorough, meeting with the key sales management personnel. Additionally, I had video interviews with cross-functional team leaders from marketing and customer services, and also a phone interview with Mr. Russo which was unexpected, and a real honor.

Question 1
How has your work experience prepared you to be successful in the role your interviewing for?
Interviewing out of the gates in January challenge within our sales team as we have new year kick-off meetings across the globe! Thanks for taking time out to provide us feedback. Our CEO, Carl Russo, leads by example that having a relentless focus on talent is core to a company's achievement of its mission. In addition, cross-functional input for our candidates to ask questions and for our team to ask of the candidates as well is core to our recruiting processes. Thanks again.
