I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Chambers Group (Middletown, CT) in Jun 2018
Interview
I received a call for an interview for this position and was pretty excited. The office is in Middletown, which is about 30-40 minutes from me without rush hour traffic, but they said the starting salary would be approximately $60,000/year.
When I got there I was SO disappointed. It was a sham. The place was packed with people and everyone was given some paperwork to fill out-none of which asked about work history, experience, etc. Some guy gave a poorly put together speech and they said that they would be calling people back based on our answers. They didn't even have the decency to let anyone know that this would not be a one on one interview. They claimed to be increasing sales at some unbelievable rate, but they were a disorganized, unprofessional mess.
Had I been informed that this was going to be a lecture, I wouldn't have wasted my time driving all the way there. It was a total waste of my time .
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions came from the potential candidates following the guy's little speech. They contact you as soon as you apply and act like they think you're great and they have to get you in to interview right away and then you get there the same time as dozens of other people. They probably don't bother to look at your resume beyond your name and phone number.
