Very easygoing and very nice manager. Talked about hiring process and training and additional onboarding details as well as job details and how the season and off season, preseason work
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&R Block (Chesterton, IN) in Aug 2025
Interview
Upon completing the application through the H&R Block website , I followed up with a call to their office and spoke with a preparer to schedule my interview. I interviewed with two preparers who had a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. They were very welcoming and kind. They asked me about my prior work experience and spoke to me about their experience and backgrounds. It felt more like a conversation than the usual feeling of an interrogative interview, which I liked. They also allowed space for me to ask questions. It was an amazing interview process.
