This process is for ehsai which is a startup that was recently acquired by intelex. Or at least this is what they told me. The process is not clear at all. First an hr reached out to me, asked me about simple hr questions including salary expectations and explained the recruiting process: 1 technical interview with the team and 1 technical with the ceo. Than it turned out that it was not that. The supposed technical interview with team was not technical at all, it was questions like “how do you handle other’s people code?” Etc. Neither the supposed technical with ceo. It was rather questions like “ what are your salary expectations?”, “can you work pacific time?” Etc. Then they send you a project to do and to submit at last after 1 week. It is an nlp multilabel classification task which is not something agreed upon when you discuss with the hr about the recruiting process. I spent time working on it and sent it back to them. No one has confirmed reception. So again, you need to check with them if they received it. Then 2 weeks later, no one has even bothered to send any update. I sent a follow up. They responded that I was shortlisted and that the hr will reach out to me in the next few days with an offer or a final decision. It has been now 2 weeks and no one has even bothered to send me anything. This department of the company is not serious at all and I think they make you work their own project. After you work them, they don’t need you anymore. Be careful, their hr is very responsive in the beginning and will tell you that since it is now intelex, they have deep pockets. When they send you the project, for some reason it is the team who send it and the hr is not included. I now doubt about everything they say. Don’t trust them!
