A slowly sinking ship coasting on its reputation
Pros
Good for new grads to get experience
Cons
This place feels like the titanic in the moments after it hits the iceberg and no one quite realizes how bad the damage is yet. This isn't a fun place to work at to be honest. Too much uncertainty about the company's future has morale low. They seem to be hiring only contracts while paying them less than industry average, and it's almost impossible to get permanent. There's no perks or signs they appreciate their employees. While at other companies you get health spending budgets, here you get a basket of croissants once a week. Good luck grabbing one before they run out. Somehow I expected more from a multi-billion dollar company, but then again that kind of shows you how much they value their employees. This place also has a weird office vibe where people on the same team hardly speak to one another unless it's work related. This may have something to do with most teams being understaffed and over worked, but doesn't add to the atmosphere at all or give a good impression. Definitely not a fun place. Also, not that many internal opportunities, again since no one knows if the company is moving to new york or not. Definitely not the company I was expecting. Their reputation has declined!
