I couldn’t agree with you more when you mention diversity and inclusion as a strength of ours. We have an incredibly talented and diverse workforce that propels our business forward every day. AIR MILES is committed to supporting an environment where we embrace and celebrate our differences. Our culture, perks and technology are big factors in how we continue to disrupt, innovate and make an impact.
Career development and internal mobility are very important to us. This year we are creating a new career-levelling framework so that we can provide even more movement and progression opportunities to our Associates. In 2020, 41% of our vacancies were filled by internal transfers and promotions. That’s something we’re really proud of and will continue to prioritize.
Yes, people come and go…and sometimes come back to us again. Attrition can be healthy for an organization. It’s hard to see good people leave for a different opportunity, but we love sharing the stories of those who come back to us after gaining new experiences and skillsets. In regards to compensation, market data helps us ensure that our salary ranges remain competitive and our Total Rewards team reviews market changes regularly making updates to our salary ranges as necessary to keep us competitive. In addition to salary, we offer many other perks and rewards to recognize the hard work of our Associates.
