Pros

I titled this best employer to date and mean it. It's largely due to the Transparency and planning that produces positive results around here. Their concentration on planning is what has helped this company navigate the pandemic, economic downturn, and tariff impacts. We're a contract based company in a competitive market and the competent decisions that have been made has allowed us to stay strong through difficult times. I like the stability. We haven't been layoff-free but it's been minimal and I find if you do your job well and make a decent effort to cooperate you don't have to worry.

Cons

Being the greenest grass I've seen doesn't mean there aren't faults. I think the biggest problem I see is a lack of transparency of leadership improvements and addressing of poor leader behavior. By behavior I mean disrespectful and unsupportive tone and dialogue used. Also using manipulative tactics to push their agendas. When employees see poor behavior they think it's acceptable and tolerated. Yet employees will have repercussions for mirroring it. Leaders also tend to use generalizations and assumptions to drive their points while demanding data from opposing viewpoints that they know is impossible or a big resource burden to capture. Its effectively manipulative and hurts progress when we waste time on the wrong problem.
