Pros

Good Pay. Nice products and frequently receiving cute new items. Benefits are ok but very expensive.

Cons

-No appreciation from the company, DM's, RM's etc -Short time frames to complete tasks with minimal hours causing a stressful environment for all staff. -Expect too much from their part time Sales Leaders. -Targets are way too high to receive bonus on most months -Running 2 hour segments with goals and having to reach a 60% success rate each week. If you don't reach it you are questioned and they are always trying to make you write up action plans for everything! -Having to do the same redundant reports but in multiple different ways all in one week. Who has time for this -Making us pressure all the associates before their shifts with chat ins -DM's not following up with their managers then holding them accountable for stuff they never taught them! Absurd!! And demeaning. -DM's rarely come in and coach and mentor you. When they do come there is little appreciation if any, it's all about what you COULD be doing as opposed to what you have done! -DM's don't really ask for feedback or interact with Co Managers therefore leaving them feeling unhappy and unappreciated. -Being Micro-Managed on EVERYTHING by company and DM's! No freedom to use thought leadership! -Mixed messages on the direction they want you to go in. Focus on conversion, no focus on trans, no focus on ADS, not today focus on your demo goals, no work on your UPT! We are only 1 person here! Perhaps if we were supplied extra sales lead support. This leads to lack of motivation on both Managers and team and if they only knew how SM's were unhappy - it would be an eye opener! This company is by far one of the worst companies I think I have worked for! It's starting to feel like torture just getting through the day.

Pros

Good discounts on merchandise, easy work.

Cons

I would have loved to purchase some of their products conisdering the 40% off discount for employees, but they failed to pay me enough to sustain myself let alone buy from their store! I was getting paid about $150 every two weeks! They never notified me about how little I'd be working or about what my schedule would be like, my shifts were completely random. If you want a set schedule each week. this job isn't for you, you're lucky to get 1 shift a week that only lasts about 3-4 hours. Once again, my supervisors failed to mention this, thinking it was more important that I know how to sell products than whether or not I get paid enough to survive. I don't know why there was so much emphasis on selling merchandise to customers anyway, these products practically sell themselves. I had a lot of questions starting out since I was a NEW EMPLOYEE and all and had never worked a job like this in my life, but for some reason my supervisors failed to see this and instead made me feel ashamed and embarassed for asking the simplest of questions. They'd actually get mad and a little sassy at me for asking a question, like where a specific item was or how to do a return. I have to remind you, I had just started and my shifts were so sporadic it was difficult to retain all the info, so I HAD to ask questions.
