Toxic Culture - Marketing Enable International Employee Review

Pros

The pay was ok, but not worth the stress!

Cons

Be ready for a VERY "clique" type of environment where you're either on the inside or outside. The CMO has created a team of previous colleagues that will likely treat you as an outcast with very demeaning and belittling comments towards you and your team. It's toxic, and takes a toll on mental and physical well-being. You are made to feel powerless. The insiders will make you think that you can express your opinions and bring your talents and ideas to the table, but I found out the hard way that it's best to just fall in line and follow orders. They don't want independent thinkers. If you're an outsider, you should consider yourself a temporary placeholder until leadership can bring over their buddies & colleagues from other companies and dispose of you, while calling it "restructuring". This fear mentality makes people afraid to report anything to the People Team out of fear of retaliation.

Pros

- There was so much potential, until they forgot about their customers and focused solely on revenue. - The market needs a platform to help manage rebates, but the tool has to work. - Making some changes, but will take years to reverse the damage.

Cons

- Customers rarely go live, it's a big problem. The land & expand motion can only be half fulfilled. (land) - Product is completely lost and they haven't made any meaningful upgrades in the last 2 years. It's clear that the CPO is in way over his head. Product roadmap has zero hard timelines and everything comes with an asterisks, leaving you questioning what will actually be developed. History with him at the helm, shows nothing will. - The CRO is non-existent. You would think someone who carries the organizational number might actually care, and want to be involved, but it couldn't be further from the truth. He doesn't even attend forecast calls at the end of a quarter.
