Pros
There are many teams at F12 across departments and regions. Many tend to operate a bit differently. I can only speak from my experience in the BC branch:
- If you put in the work you will be recongized
- The more you are willing to learn, the more you will
- Room for career growth
- If you treat your colleagues with respect and do your share on your team, it will likely be reciprocated to you.
- F12 had changed its team structure heavily in the past year. For the most part they are in a much better state and organized.
Cons
- Taking on more work does not necessarily mean you will be rewarded in some aspects. i.e the more you take on the more you will be given.
- As is most MSPs, the work will be fast paced and there will be heavy work loads. This doesn't mean there won't be low seasons. But there is always something to do (you can consider this a pro if you are hungry for experience)
- Before leaving, I have seen a shift of F12 hiring more off shore workers. In my personal experience you tend to get what you pay for with cheaper labour. This could change for better or for worse in the future, it is a hard to tell at this time.
