The churn rate should speak for itself. If an employee isn't fired or unexpectedly terminated, they are running out the door cursing the toxicity of the place. But "it's a startup thing" right?
Higher level leaders are awful and arrogant (with the exception of maybe two), and you won't count on them for any real type of goal setting, performance management, useful advice or solutions.
What you will get is avoidance of real issues, low level knowledge and understanding or care of day to day barriers, and many, many pointless meetings that lead to zero improvements on the product, the offerings, the client satisfaction, or the happiness of their employees. The main thing they care for is the $$$ for the big guys.
They rely heavily on their sales team to keep things afloat and encourage selling things they do not offer, which puts all other departments in a predicament.
There is very little room for growth, and they rarely promote within.
If you don't consistently work 9-12 hour days, you will be looked down upon or lose your job regardless of their attempt at saying or doing otherwise.
They call themselves a tech company, but their product/tool is down or having major issues on both the internal and client facing side at least 50% of the time.
They call themselves a catering company, and have very little respect, rewards or improvements for the restaurants and owners they are taking from.
They pride themselves on customer satisfaction yet follow through on their offerings at a minimal level.
