Pros
A biweekly paycheque if you just need a job, any job
Cons
Was a good employer 10-20 years ago; GD relies on this old reputation without currently being a good employer Pay and PTO are mid Few or non-existent opportunities for career progression or training Every so often GD downgrades the employment packages offered to new hires, so the overall compensation offered to new hires is less and less Pension and retirement savings plans are mid A few years ago the benefits package was downgraded yet framed as an upgrade - but you can pay out of pocket for better coverage if you want Good luck if you need HR for anything; they are not communicative, transparent, responsive or helpful on any matter large or small In 2024, 15+ year employees were asked to consider resigning in exchange for very little compensation; there is no appreciation or regard for experience, quality or career years that people have invested in the company
