      great team, good work culture, a relaxed attitude. It was my first job in the industry and it worked out great

      Cons

      modest salaries, vacation pay is paid out to you slowly in your regular payday checks so when you actually take vacation time you don't paid

      Great studio culture, friendly, snack days on Fridays. Also bring your dog to work day!

      Pros

      Friendly people with fun projects. I enjoyed snack days as ridiculous as it seems. This was my first animation studio job and I learned a lot. Much of it was by making mistakes and having a decent support network help me.

      Cons

      Not too many. Mainly I don't like that trying to get a full time contract with them is a fruitless endeavor, and that benefits are not offered.

      Thank you for your comments. As of 2015 we have offered a competitive benefit package. Our contracts are structured on Canadian animation industry standards and project- to-project contracts allow us to better manage and maximize our tax credit support and government paperwork. Many Guruvians have been here for years - some over a decade, migrating from contract to contract and enjoying the same benefits, pay raises and security of a full-time employee.
