Pros
Being by the lake is the best thing, but it still doesn't make it worth the headache of this place. You might trauma-bond and become friends with some of your colleagues.
Cons
Unless you are a complete masochist or look forward to work-related PTSD just go somewhere else. The toxicity of this place is so ingrained at every level, there's racism, nepotism, and bullying, take your pick but know that the list doesn't end there, those are just the glaringly obvious. Harbourfront Centre as an arts and cultural institution is broken, there are far better places in the city to work at and support. The high turnover in all the roles below senior management should be the biggest red flag. And take every 5-star review you see about working at Harbourfront Centre with a grain of salt, as they are either written by the HR department trying to trick unsuspecting new staff or it's written by seasonal staff who never really get a good idea of how awful it is to work there year-round.
