Biggest mistake of my career - Dev Hothead Games Employee Review

Hi Mike Inglehart the Creative Director of Hothead Games here and I wanted to say thank you for sending in the review of our company, we appreciate the time invested to write up your feedback . * It was yet again great to see that Hothead is full of talented people who care about the games we are making. We see this in many reviews and we take great pride in these comments, thank you for sharing. * Being in our Coal Harbour office for a decent period of time now and continually making improvements to the space we appreciate your recognition of the nice office. And it is also nice to know we are making great games! * I am sorry to hear that you faced some challenges in your time at Hothead and would like to reply to these comments. * In regards to the poor management accountability, this is a point that would stand to receive some more detail. We would love to understand the context in which this comment is being written. There are many aspects to what our respective managers take care of on a day to day basis so I would happily discuss this with you further to understand the details on this feedback. * The environment comment as well is very basic and this is something that could use some more detail. What made it toxic and what was the contextual situation(s) that you faced to create this feedback. Again please feel free to contact me to discuss this point further. I would also include the comment on bullying here as well so I can understand the true context of the matter. * Team wise, we do have four different development teams at the company all working on exciting and different products. In the weekly one on one sessions with an employee's manager, we encourage everyone to express anything in regards to job satisfaction. Sometimes people want a bit of a change or have a bigger passion for working on a different project. By surfacing these feelings we can tend to these requests and do our best to maximize everyone's happiness at Hothead.
